Recently I was lucky enough to receive a Lexan Cut Throat plectrum by Lifeblood Guitar Picks. To say this guitar pick is unique is quite the understatement. According to my own research, Lexan is a polycarbonate resin thermoplastic and has many uses—one of which is bullet-resistant windows. Another use is clearly high quality guitar plectrums.

There are many musical genres. This is what I’ve heard at least. For me, there is metal and there is … whatever else other people listen to. The same is also true for guitars. There are many makes and models of guitar and most of them have one thing in common … Wood. Every now and then though, you come across a guitar that stands out for the same reason my favourite musical genre does … Metal.
Let’s get one thing straight. I’m a man.
Now that I’ve got that off my obviously hairy chest, I’d like to add the Daisy Rock Guitars Bangles Signature model to my wishlist of 52 guitars. I’d already stated on Twitter that I was man enough to like Daisy Rock Guitars and I received an awesome response letting me know the necks are thinner and more lightweight. This is ideal for women who want to rock and lazy men like me. The advice I was given actually went like this.
I love a well designed double cutaway with a three-a-side headstock. It works incredibly well for the Gibson SG and it absolutely works well with the Reverend Manta Ray HB. What I love in particular with this model of Reverend guitar is that it appears symmetrical even though it isn’t as symmetrical as it could be. The headstock is angled at the end and the body has an f-hole on one side of the body. Still with all its other parts laid out, it works a treat.
My obvious favourite finish is the black, but the Tobacco Burst Flame Maple complete with Bigsby bridge is also an amazing looking guitar.
